Drapers And Damons - Fraudulent VIP Program
A couple of years ago I bought something for my grandmother at Drapers & Damons. I just found out from my bank for the last 25 months they've been charging me $14.97 monthly for some "VIP" program that I had no idea I was being charged for!
When I called customer service they agreed to refund me for 12 months but not the full amount. I'll NEVER shop there again! This kind of trick marketing is what ruins businesses reputations.
What clothing stores do you know that SELL a VIP program? Zappos.com who has one of the BEST customer service programs online would be a good example for them on how to better run a business.
Reason of review: VIP program that was a trick.
Monetary Loss: $374.
Preferred solution: Full refund.

You know I signed on to Just Answers.....I put my credit card information in. I have very bad feeling about this.
I want this charge charge off my credit card.
I will never do business with you ever again. All my friends will here about this.
I am trying to get this VIP charge off my credit card. I am going to cancel the card if you do not remove this bogus charge. This is crazy!
I just found out they are doing this to me. Iโm trying to get it stopped. I never heard of their VIP program.
I too got burned. I bought a dress for a wedding last summer and I just recently noted that I have been being charged $14.97 for a membership program I never signed up for.
They are crediting me for only 6 months. Will never ever buy from them again.
WOW, I just got burned by the same scam. Found out they'd been charging my card for 6 months.
My bad for not catching it until now but what an unscrupulous deal--they claimed that by filling in my address online and saying yes, i'd like the discount for $1.99, then not returning some mailing no doubt thrown out as junk mail--voila! I'm a VIP member. Unethical and certainly something more people should know about.
I did get a 3 month refund "credited to my account". We'll see...
I just had the same thing happen. I bought my mom something Christmas 2015 and for 16 mos.
I've been charged $14.97 monthly and didn't authorize it.
They claim I've signed up for some VIP program and I did not. It is a complete scam and I'll never buy a gift there again.
