Drapers And Damons - Complaint
I was given a gift, bought on-line from D&D, and paid for with a credit card. Though I had the receipt, showing the purchase price, when I tried to make an exchange with the item to a D&D store, they would not accept it.
Reason: that the item was not bought in that store, so they did not have the money to make the exchange. I have been a very regular customer of D&D for a number of years. My store was closed recently, and I went to the La Jolla store. In addition to asking for the exchange, I had in my hand 3 additional items, I had planned to purchase.
When this "glitch" occurred, I left the store empty-handed. I was not trying to take advantage of D&D, merely trying to work out something I would wear.
